Jordan Real Estate Advisors (Jordan REA) is a commercial development and real estate investment advisory company located in North Carolina. Its team of professionals have been involved in the development of more than 100 freestanding single tenant and multitenant buildings, comprising in excess of 1,000,000 square feet of retail space, 5 golf course community developments, 3 of which were designed by Jack Nicklaus, and several other land development projects.

ABOUT JONATHAN JORDAN

Before founding Jordan REA in April of 2013, Jonathan spent the previous 2 years as the Broker-In-Charge of Clift Commercial’s Fayetteville office, and brokered over $7,000,000 in transactions while holding that position. In addition to his role at Clift Commercial, he continued to pursue commercial development and successfully completed a 7,000 square foot freestanding location for a national retail tenant and a 10,000 square foot multitenant building with medical and retail users. Prior to joining Clift Commercial, Jonathan spent the previous six years as a Preferred Developer for Advance Auto Parts. In that role, Jonathan was responsible for the development of 15 locations for Advance across NC, VA, and ME totaling approximately 105,000 square feet and $23 million in value. Due to the nature of development, his experience is far greater than the 15 completed deals, evaluating approximately 10 deals for every project that was approved and completed. As a developer, Jonathan is experienced in site selection, contract preparation and negotiation, due diligence, budgeting, lease review and preparation, client reporting, permitting, and the process involved from plan generation to completion of construction. In addition to his developmental role, Jonathan also negotiated, reviewed, and prepared contracts for the sale of multiple Advance Auto locations to outside purchasers, and assisted in the management of properties that were retained by the company. While Jonathan’s primary focus was the development of single tenant, free-standing locations, he also has experience in land, apartment, and residential development and analysis.

Jonathan earned his Undergraduate Degree in Accounting from NC State University in December of 2002, and went on to get his Master of Accounting from NC State University in May of 2004. Before his previous development job, he worked as an auditor in the Assurance and Advisory Services segment of Ernst & Young. Jonathan’s training as an accountant provides him with the analytical tools to evaluate real estate transactions from many different angles. His development background, analytical capability, and commitment to client satisfaction add great value to his clients.
